Christmas w/ Friends

Christmas with friends - wouldn't miss it!
All the goodies, dirty Santa, and the
kids opening presents.
We had a wonderful time once again at Amy and John's house. It's a nice send-off for us to get together with everyone and celebrate before we leave for New Jersey. Having Susie, Heather and the girls added even more love to the occasion.
Little Miss Roxanne helped Joseph with a difficult unwrapping...thank you Roxy.

And Mia loved all of the attention from all the kids.

Bryar did a great job giving Mia her paci:)

Merry Christmas

to all of our Valdosta family:)

See you in 2010!

It's a sing-along!

Dashing the powder snow, onto the pecan meltaways;
Swirling caramel, laughing all the way.
Bells on the radio, making spirits bright.
What fun it is to bake cookies with a 3 year old tonight!
Oooooooh,......................you know the tune!

Breakfast with Santa

This morning we enjoyed breakfast with Santa at St. John's Church. Christmas carols were sung by the youth choir as we visited with friends: Debbie, Heather, Andrea and Drew:) This evening we'll rejoin our friends to watch the WinterFestival Parade.

Say "Cheeks"!

Mia, "Queen of the Cheeks", actually loves to squeeze other's cheeks.

Decorating for Christmas

This year begins our Christmas decorating family traditions. This is the first year I have had the help of our first born. Joseph was very excited to hang the ornaments on his very own little tree. Each of the ornaments were either given to Joseph by a student - the Christmas I was pregnant with Joseph (my final year of teaching elementary school:) , or by his Aunt "O" or his Grandma Freda. Coincidentally, the angel topper reminds me alot of baby Mia.

Each day we count down as we get closer and closer to celebrating Christmas Day, Jesus's birthday.

The outside has a few simple decorations including: sweet candy canes, velvety red bows, a welcoming snowman and our final purchase of a lighted window candy cane.

Wishing you all festive trimmings!
